During the week of August 26-30, 2019, road closures will take place in the following areas in order for culvert work to be completed…

  • 2nd Street West between 2nd Avenue West and 1st Avenue West

  • 1st Street East between 2nd Avenue East and 3rd Avenue East.

Please avoid these areas while workers are present.

Mayor and Town Council would like to take this opportunity to Thank the residents of Marshall for cleaning up their yards and utilizing the Wood and Steel bins properly.

An ‘Interest Survey” is posted at the Post Office (during Karla’s working hours) to see if Marshall residents would be interested in having the Wood and Steel bins again sometime after the September Long Weekend.

Contractor Required

Contractor is required for occasional work to clean up residential/commercial lots or other sites in the Town of Marshall, SK.

Contractor would supply a truck/trailer capable of hauling miscellaneous articles including, but not limited to wooden, metal, yard waste, grass, leaves, tree branches and other articles deemed to be untidy or unsightly.

Contractor would also supply all personnel and tools (ie. rakes, shovels, mowers, etc) to complete any or all cleanup.

Any articles that are removed from any site would have to be disposed of at the appropriate waste management site and would not be deemed to be salvaged.

Any application from any contractor/person should state the cost/rates of any work done to completion.

The successful contractor would receive clear instructions as to what work would be required.

Drinking Water Quality and Compliance - Town Short Form

In accordance with Section 44 of the Water Regulation 2002, the Town of Marshall hereby notifies consumers that the information on the quality of water supplies to residents and compliance to sample submission requirements is available at the Town Office located at 17 Min Street, during the hours of 9:00 am - 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Legacy Regional Protective Services has issued a Partial Fire Ban. This means the following…

The ban is applied to all Open Burning of any outdoor fires that may create a public safety hazard, including but not limited to:

  • Prescribed burns commonly referred to as controlled burns

  • Fireworks

Open Burning does not include:

  • Fireplaces within buildings

  • Campfires

  • Recreational fires

  • Fire pits

  • Fire rings

  • Barbecue Grills and Smokers
