SAMAView Information

SAMA has launched their updated SAMAView services. SAMAView is a tool that allows the general public access to individual property assessments for all SAMA client jurisdictions.

A rebuild of SAMAView will increase speed and performance and allow for a more user-friendly interface. It will also provide SAMA the ability to potentially offer additional services, particularly with respect to commercial customers and increased GIS capabilities.

SAMAView will continue to be a resources tool for property owners to:

  • Verify their property assessment information;

  • Compare their assessment to similar or neighbouring properties; and,

  • Get a general idea of assessed values in their municipality.

The new SAMAView application will offer:

  • A mobile-friendly interface;

  • Better search capabilities; and,

  • Geolocation services;

  • Online payment processing;

  • Secure access - personalized dashboard and favourites

  • Access to prior year assessment information

  • Access to additional property details available for purchase

  • Improved quality of SAMAView data; and,

  • The potential to add more imagery for different customer groups in the future.

The updated system will work on an account and credit system. The updated SAMAView application is being developed inside of the MySAMA framework, because of this all users will be required to self-register for an account to use SAMAView.
