Legacy Regional Protective Services EMO Update
Saskatchewan Declares State Of Emergency - COVID-19
Public Health Order
COVID-19
The Town of Marshall is following the lead of Saskatchewan Health Authority and taking direction from our EMO Coordinator in regards to COVID-19. We want to keep our staff and community safe during this global pandemic. According to the Public Health Agency website, At this time, the public health risk associated with COVID-19 is low for the general population in Canada but this could change rapidly. There is an increased risk of more severe outcomes for Canadians:
aged 65 and over
with compromised immune systems
with underlying medical conditions
Although the risk is low in our community, it is essential that residents be reminded to follow all the recommendations of the Saskatchewan Health Authority to protect themselves. Education is key!!
Remember to….
Wash your hands often for 20 seconds and cover your mouth and nose with your arm when coughing or sneezing.
Model social distancing (ie. avoid hand shakes, hugs, etc)
If you are sick, stay home
