IMPORTANT - SAMA REINSPECTION LETTER
It has come to our attention that the SAMA ( Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency) forms received in the mail are required to be filled out completely and returned to SAMA in the postage paid envelope that was provided. Any changes done during the course of ownership needs to be reported to SAMA. If you need assistance completing the form please contact SAMA at 306-441-7665 or 1-800-824-2570. General concerns unrelated to your property assessment, can be directed to the Town Office at 306-387-6340
WOOD & STEEL BINS
2 Wood and 2 Steel Bins will be available for Marshall residents to use on the weekend of September 12 and 13, 2020. Please take the opportunity to do some fall yard cleanup.
Property Owners - Please Read SAMA Re-inspection Program
Please read the letter here from SAMA, as it pertains information required for the re-inspection of all properties in Marshall that will commence in August 2020, information gathered will be used in the 2021 tax year. Your cooperation is required for this re-inspection to be completed. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Office.

QUIK PICK BINS - DROP OFF
Beginning tomorrow, July 29, 2020 Quik Pick will be our recycling/garbage provider. They will be dropping off garbage bins starting Wednesday, July 29 2020 thru to July 31, 2020. The first pick up will be garbage on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. Calendars were provided in the last utility billing. They are also available at the Post Office and the Town Office along with Recycling Program guidelines. If you have any questions please call the office at 306-387-6340

The Town Office will be closed all day, Tuesday, July 28, 2020 for Munisoft computer upgrades.

NEW GARBAGE/RECYCLING CONTRACT - JULY 28, 2020
July 28, 2020 will be the final pickup of garbage/recycling bins for GFL. Please make sure your bin is on the curb regardless of whether you have garbage or not, and leave your bin out as GFL will be coming around and picking up the bins afterwards.
The bins will be dispersed by Quik Pick later in the week with the new schedule starting August 4, 2020 with garbage.
The new schedule was included in your July/August Utility Billing. New schedules can be picked up at the Post Office of Town Office.
Drinking Water Quality & Compliance Annual Notice to Consumers
In accordance with Section 44 of the Water Regulations 2002, the Town of Marshall hereby notifies consumers that the information on the quality of water supplies to residents and compliance to “sample submission requirements” is now available at the Town Office located at 17 Main Street during the business hours of 9:00 am-12:00 pm 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Monday - Friday.

MUNICIPAL ECONOMIC ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM GRANT
The Town of Marshall is very pleased to announce that we have been approved for the MEEP Grant from the Government of Saskatchewan for our weeping tile/road construction project for the entire community.
Please watch for updates for the beginning of this project to begin as we would like to have this project completed before the end of the year, if possible.
NEW STOP SIGN INSTALLED: RAILWAY/JASPER AVENUE
Please be advised that a new stop sign has been installed on Railway Avenue and Jasper Avenue to create a three way intersection.
PUBLIC NOTICE - Sidewalk Installation Phase 3
All residents of 4th Avenue East and West. Starting next week July 6, 2020 please remove all vehicles and trailers from the street as the sidewalk installation project will commence.

NOTICE - ANNUAL SEPTIC PUMP OUT - WEST SIDE
Septic pump out on west side of town starting the week of June 22/2020 depending on weather.

"NEW" SPEED BUMP INSTALLED
Please be advised a new speed bump has been placed on Railway Avenue across from the Marshall Hotel and the Sasktel Building.
New signs have been ordered and will be installed as soon as possible. The speed bump is 2 3/4 inches high spread over 4 feet.
Partial Road Closure - June 09, 2020
Please be advised that culvert work will be taking place across Railway Ave by the Sasktel Building next to the Marshall Hotel. The work will commence on Tuesday, June 09, 2020. The road will be blocked off but the truck turnaround will be available for use to get from each side of Town to Hwy 16.
